Sneaking Sugar - Addictive Behavior?

We've had a problem with sugar being snuck from the bag on the counter for baking.

The challenge isn't so much the sneaking--we understand the underlying issue there--but the covering up and lying about it afterwards.

Is this a pre-cursor to addictive behaviors? Should we be worrying about that morphing into hiding use of alcohol and drugs when our kid gets older?

So the latest and greatest - Raw cookie dough meant for Easter day baking. She hid the "evidence" in the piano bench.

We had a little suspension at school today. Our DD decided to poke a boy with a fork. No damage and there was another kid involved in egging on the behavior, but still. Lots of fun.
