Hello all! I can't believe I have been doing this foster care thing for just over a year and just now found this forum. I look forward to "meeting" you all online.
About myself; I am a single woman with one cat. Since April 08, I have added one teenage foster girl, my (now gone) grandmother's cat, a fiancee and just last weekend a stray cat (because I really needed another cat! - or not).
I am an Orthodox Christian and would not be making it by without the love and support of my parish family.

I'm glad that your found your way here. We're a new-ish, but supportive bunch of folks. Thanks for being a foster parent. It is an unbelievably important calling.

I am very pleased to hear that you have support from your community in your foster care. The idea of this site is that we can better support one another and provide advice. You seem to be in a great place to participate.
