Many kids who end up in the "system" find themselves bouncing from foster home to foster home. It isn't uncommon for a child to end up having five or more sets of caregivers before a permanent placement occurs (if a permanent placement ever occurs).

CASA for Children provides an advocate for these kids who will follow a child in the system and will try and ensure that the kid's best interests are represented.
