I am Mommy to 4 wild children. I complain about them almost as much as I brag about my 10yo's straight A's, my 7 yo's amazing faith in God, My 5yo's crazy imagination, and my 4yo's reading abilities. Parenting my kids is not easy, and when it is hard, it is REALLY hard, but when it's not hard, it is beyond easy! My kids resilience is amazing, and although they take 3 steps forward then 2 to 3 steps back, I know they are moving forward. Most people can't see the progress, or understand why I get excited and brag about having a "normal" day. (We don't get those too often.)I am so glad that the red guy (redndahead, aka honey, dear, dorkfish, and "that guy I married") told me about this forum: a place full of people who "get" it.
